Umar Kawu

Umar is a Leadership and Management Development Consultant, who provides support to individuals and organisations in different sectors of the economy to achieve higher level of performance and productivity. He has over 30 years of experience and has worked around Nigeria and over 32 other countries across five continents. Umar has worked in ReStraL Consulting, Swiss Pharma (formerly Roche), Colgate-Palmolive and Pfizer Products as a Senior Consultant/Team Leader, Product Manager, Area Manager, District Manager and Pharmaceutical Sales Representative respectively. He is a LEAD International Fellow (Leadership for Environment and Development Programme), Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. He has an MBA and a degree in Pharmacy both from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He is fluent in English and three major Nigerian languages. One of his passions is sharing knowledge with others.
